Taking on the challenge of building a company with dreams through Super 6S activities

In 1994, with the construction of a new factory, we began with the wish to renew both body and mind.
We started “5S activities” (sort, set in order, shine, standardize and sustain).
With “contributing to the world through friction-grinding technology and increasing the happiness of all people connected to this business” as our management philosophy,
We began these activities with the hope of creating a company where employees can have dreams.
By organizing the workplace and our own minds, polishing everything to a shine, improving production efficiency and quality, and increasing customer satisfaction,
we have devoted ourselves fully under the slogan, “Let us all become richer together!”

Since then, we have continued activities in many forms, including ISO, TQM, 6S and Super ISO.
In 2014, at the milestone of 20 years, we renamed the activities “Super 6S Activities.”
Under our own new keywords: creation, evolution, success, growth, deep resonance and happiness,
we restarted the initiative as the culmination of our activities.

Why do people work? “Let us create happiness through work!”This is the spirit of the activity.
Together with colleagues, we participate in creating new value, evolve the company, increase successful experiences, grow ourselves and create deeper resonance.
We define our new management philosophy as increasing the happiness of all people connected to this business.
We aim to be a company with people and an organization that can think deeply, solve problems and adapt to environmental change.

Being praised or recognized by customers, supervisors or colleagues, becoming able to do what we could not do before,
achieving goals, receiving promotion or salary increases.
Each may seem small, but are these not the joys of work?
To obtain these joys, as our company motto says, “If we are going to live, let’s make life enjoyable and meaningful, and work with all our hearts...”
it is essential to develop the habit of living positively and enjoying work.

Just as products have quality, people also have quality.
We call it “human quality.”
Improving the quality of people, systems and products ultimately raises the comprehensive quality of the company.
We want to be a company that delights and earns recognition from customers, and where employees work with smiles.
Some may say that is only idealism, but we will continue pursuing that ideal.
That is the company with dreams that we aim to build.
